The European Fencing Championships will be held in Genoa from June 14 to 19, 2025. The competitions will take place at the new Waterfront in the Jean Nouvel pavilion (preliminary rounds) and the new Palasport (finals).

The 2025 European Fencing Championships will feature the three Olympic fencing disciplines:
• Foil (men’s and women’s)
• Sabre (men’s and women’s)
• Épée (men’s and women’s)
Each discipline includes both individual and team events.
All European national teams recognized by the European Fencing Confederation (EFC) will take part, including Italy, France, Germany, Hungary, Spain, the United Kingdom, and many others.
Athletes of Russian nationality may participate if authorized by the FIE (International Fencing Federation) under the FIE flag as AIN (Individual Neutral Athletes). Currently, they are not allowed to compete in team events.
