Festa dello Sport 2025: Fencing takes center stage on the road to the European Championships

Three special days dedicated to Fencing at the Festa dello Sport 2025.

With eyes already set on the European Championships, at the Porto Antico of Genoa—thanks to the commitment of the Local Organizing Committee and the fencing clubs of Liguria—locals and tourists alike will be able to experience the magic of Fencing from Friday, May 23 to Sunday, May 25.

Three days of events in Piazzale Mandraccio, starting with an exciting Friday morning dedicated to the School Olympics. A large area will be set up to immerse students and families in the European Championship atmosphere, an event that will take place from June 14 to 19 at the Jean Nouvel and Palasport venues in Genoa.

On Saturday afternoon at 4 PM, in the presence of six-time Olympic champion Valentina Vezzali, a special relay event will take place featuring Italian stars Edoardo Luperi and Matteo Iacomini. This will be followed by an awards ceremony and celebration on the main stage of the Festa dello Sport.
